These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SKI desktop application, the heyski.io website, and the AgentCall meeting features (together, the "Service"), provided by Nexbillion Labs Private Limited (trading as Pattern AI), India ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SKI is a voice interface for AI coding agents: you speak, SKI transcribes on your device and passes text to your coding agent, and speaks its replies aloud. SKI also offers local meeting recording/transcription and, through AgentCall, the ability to send an AI participant into video meetings. SKI works with third‑party coding agents and meeting platforms that we do not control.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. After a trial period, continued use requires a free account (via AgentCall). You are responsible for your account and for all activity under it, and you agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Service. You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except to the extent permitted by law; resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service; remove proprietary notices; or use the Service to build a competing product. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The SKI app and its on‑device features (the voice loop, local speech‑to‑text and voice, local meeting recording) are free to use with registration. Sending your agent into video meetings via AgentCall is a paid feature, billed per minute of usage with a free allowance; applicable charges and any free hours are shown at the point of use. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.
You agree not to use the Service to: violate any law or third‑party right; infringe intellectual property; transmit malicious code; gain unauthorised access to any system; or use another party's meeting platform in violation of that platform's terms. You are responsible for the instructions you give your coding agent and for the actions it takes on your systems.
Recording conversations and sending an AI participant into a meeting are subject to laws that vary by country and region (including "all‑party consent" rules) and to the terms of the meeting platform (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).
You are solely responsible for (a) obtaining any legally required consent from all participants before recording a meeting or before an AI participant joins, (b) complying with all applicable recording, privacy, and wiretapping laws in every relevant jurisdiction, and (c) complying with the meeting platform's own terms. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your recording of meetings or your use of AI participants.
SKI relays between you and third‑party coding agents (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and others) and integrates with third‑party services (meeting platforms, and processors like Google and Cloudflare). We do not control those agents or services, are not responsible for their outputs or actions, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. You use your coding agent at your own risk; review anything it produces before relying on it.
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks ("SKI", "Pattern AI", "AgentCall"), is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by law. You retain all rights to your own code, content, and data.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or secure, or that any agent output will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹5,000 (INR).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content or instructions, your recording of meetings or use of AI participants, or your breach of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licence limits, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnities) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. The courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
