Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This site (heyski.io), the SKI desktop application, and the AgentCall service (agentcall.dev) are operated by Nexbillion Labs Private Limited (trading as Pattern AI), a company incorporated in India ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@heyski.io.

2. Scope

This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we handle it across (a) the heyski.io website, (b) the SKI application, and (c) the AgentCall meeting features when you use them. It applies to visitors and users worldwide.

3. Information we collect

a. The website (heyski.io)

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and traffic sources. It sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed. This is handled by Google as described in Google's privacy policy.
• Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs (IP address, user agent) for delivery and security.

b. The SKI application (on your device)

• Anonymous product analytics. With your consent (a disclosed setting, on by default, that you can turn off in Preferences → About → Privacy), SKI sends anonymous usage statistics to PostHog: counts and durations of features used, coarse device facts (chip family, memory, CPU cores), app version, and a random install identifier. There is no account identity attached — we know that an install exists, never who it belongs to.
• Nothing else leaves the device. Speech recognition and the neural voice run locally. Your spoken audio, transcripts, the code and file contents your agent reads or writes, and your project names/paths are processed on your machine only and are never transmitted to us.

c. Accounts & AgentCall

• Registration. After a short trial, continued use requires a free sign‑in through AgentCall. That creates an account and processes the information you provide to register (such as your email and sign‑in identity).
• Meetings (only when you use them). If you send your agent into a video meeting, or use the AgentCall meeting features, that runs in the cloud and processes meeting audio, transcripts, chat, and related data to provide the service. (Recording a meeting locally in SKI stays on your device — see §5.)

d. Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and use them to respond.

4. What we never collect

We do not collect or upload your voice recordings, dictation transcripts, source code, file contents, or project names/paths from local use of the app. "Words" in our analytics is a count, never the text itself.

5. Local meeting recording

SKI's local meeting transcriber records and transcribes meeting audio entirely on your machine — that data is not sent to us and stays under your control (you can view, export, or delete it). You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record, and for complying with applicable law and the meeting platform's rules. See our Terms of Service.

6. Cookies

The website uses cookies set by Google Analytics for measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; core pages will still work. Where required by law, we will present a consent mechanism for non‑essential cookies.

7. How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the website, the app, and AgentCall;
• To understand aggregate, anonymous usage so we can prioritise features;
• To create and manage your account and provide meeting features you request;
• To respond to support requests and communicate about the service;
• To comply with legal obligations.

8. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract:

• Google — website analytics (Google Analytics 4);
• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery;
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics for the app;
• AgentCall / Nexbillion Labs — account registration and, when you use them, meeting features.

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. Locally‑stored data (settings, transcripts, recordings) lives on your device until you delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California CCPA/CPRA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of certain processing. You can turn off the app's analytics at any time in Preferences → About → Privacy. To exercise any right, email support@heyski.io; we will respond as required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data‑protection authority.

12. International transfers

We are based in India and use service providers that may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

13. Children

SKI is intended for professional/developer use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
